What about press studs/ kam snaps?
Plastic press studs, ideal to make a closure on a garment. Easy to open and close. Very useful for making children’s clothes: quick dressing and undressing when you use it for baby clothes. The press studs are made of sturdy plastic and are washable at 60 degrees. For strength, first reinforce the fabric with wonder dots.
Attach the button with Prym pliers or other button pliers. The size is standard, so the button will fit in many of the available attaching pliers.
